Get to Know the Adoptive Family
You can communicate with the adoptive parents by text, call, and email. Depending on your selected adoption plan, you can even meet with them and form a bond before the adoption is finalized.
Create a Hospital Plan
You and your adoption caseworker will create a hospital stay and delivery plan. As a mother, you can decide who will be with you in the room, who will hold the child first, when the baby will meet with adoptive parents, and when the child will go to the new home.
Post Adoption Counseling and Support
Once the placement is done, we’ll offer you post-placement counseling. You can receive updates and pictures of how the child is growing if you choose open or semi-open adoption.
